“What should I budget for a decent one-bed condo?”
My answerShane Ruddle, 20+ years in PattayaAround ฿20,000 a month. Our average across both agencies is just over ฿18,000 for a one-bed of 30 to 45 square metres.
What ฿20,000 gets you depends a lot on the area: a small one-bed in Central Pattaya or Pratumnak, a slightly bigger one in an older Jomtien building, maybe only a studio in Wongamat, or a two- or three-bed house in East Pattaya.
Choose the building, not just the room. The pool, the gym and the internet make a bigger difference once you've signed for a year than the view from the bedroom.
