“We're bringing our dog. Will we find a condo that allows pets?”
My answerShane Ruddle, 20+ years in PattayaIt's hard. Very few condos allow pets, so most pet owners end up renting a house, usually in East Pattaya.
This matters more than anything else about having a pet here: your choice of places to live shrinks enormously. Some landlords don't want pets in their houses either, so say so up front.
East Pattaya is where most pet owners live. It's mainly houses, it's quieter, and you'll want a car.
Think about the breed and the heat too. There aren't many places to walk a dog, and midday walks aren't much fun for either of you.
