The school

Rugby School Thailand is the Thai sister school of Rugby School in England, on a big campus east of Pattaya. If you're paying for the top end, this is usually the one people mean.

"The facilities are first class, including a 50-metre competition swimming pool. I've done 10K runs around the school, and they've recently built a golf driving range for their golf academy. My kids did a football camp there over the summer holidays and loved it."

a year in tuition, youngest to oldest year group (about ฿46k to ฿120k a month).

Most schools bill term by term, so the money goes out in big chunks. Budget for uniforms, trips and the school bus too.

How far is it?

Near Khao Mai Kaew, between Highways 36 and 331, about 5 minutes from Mabprachan Lake.

My estimates, one way, outside rush hour. Add 15 to 30 minutes in high season.
